Dayak Onion Tuber (Eleutherine Bulbosa (Mill) (Urb) Extract Ethanol Test on The Histopatological Description of Pancreas Wistar Rat Inducted Streptozotocin

This study aimed to determine the effect of Dayak Union tuber (Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill) Urb) ethanol extract on regeneration pancreatic β cells Wistar rats induced streptozotocin. research is laboratory experimental by using 30 rats, they are divided into 5 groups, each group consisting 6 1 (normal control), 2 (sick control) was given Na CMC % b/v, Group 3 (positive glibenclamide at a dose 0.25 mg / KgBW, 4,5 and were 125 KgBB, 250 KgBB 500 kgBW orally for 15 consecutive days. The histopathological damage level pancreas observed with HE staining 400x magnification Olympus Cx-21 microscope. result showed that there secondary metabolites alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, tannins in Eleutherine palmifolia Urb); description structure Langerhans islands only improvement.
